Meet Brent J Haisma

Building quality homes runs in the Haisma family.  Brent's father, Jake Haisma, started building homes in West Michigan in 1954.  The family has now built hundreds of homes and condos in this area.  Brent started working with his father at a very young age, helping with small projects as needed.  He's now been on his own for over 25 years.   His specialty is single family homes and condos but he's also done some light commercial construction in addition to putting together several planned, residential developments.  

Brent attended West Side Christian Middle School and then graduated from Calvin Christian High School in 1988.  He and his wife Stephanie have been married for over 20 years and have four children that now also attend West Side and Calvin Christian Schools.  

Brent attends Little Farms Chapel Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Coopersville and has served on various committees and as a cadet counselor for 15 years.  He coaches baseball, Tball, basketball and even helps the girls' volleyball team by recording game statistics.  

When asked to describe his approach to business Brent said "Basically I do my best to be an honest businessman with integrity.  I treat people with respect and will work hard to make things they way they want them.  I try to be easy to work with and if I can't help someone with a specific thing I will find someone who I trust that can help".
